SRC at Ardtornish enables students to participate in the important process of
decision making and citizenship. The students who form the Student Representative Council are elected by their classmates because they display positive leadership qualities and a willingness to make a difference here at school and in the wider community.
They are involved in sharing their class views and presenting ideas and strategies to improve life and learning here at Ardtornish.
SRC has also demonstrated a wider sphere of influence by raising funds to support charities in Australia and around the world. They have also actively worked to improve the facilities here at school.
SRC students are encouraged to develop their own leadership skills by being involved in Leadership training activities, and to take on roles within SRC meetings.
Students may become Safety Ambassadors within the school to promote healthy and safe choices and to promote the role of the Safety Assist organisation.
